POOL PLAY SCHEDULE

Teams are randomly seeded by the Tourney Machine system, then adjusted if needed by the committee to try to create the most competitive and even pools possible. The Tournament Directors do the best job possible based on the information provided and make every attempt to be fair and consider all variables for a great experience. Please respect that the Tournament Directors try to be equitable and fair at all times. In the event a team has to play 4 pool games to enable a team to get 3 pool play games (odd number of teams), the fourth pool game will NOT be counted towards seeding.

PLAYOFF SEEDING

Based on total points earned
Tie breakers as follows:
Head-to-Head (if only two teams tied)
Goal Difference
Goals Against
Goals Scored
Coin Toss (First team alphabetically calls the toss)
In the playoff games if a tie persists at the end of regulation - teams will have a 3-minute “sudden victory” (first team to score) overtime period.
If no score occurs within the first overtime period, then teams will switch ends with no delay for coaching or substitution a second “sudden victory” overtime period will occur.
If no goal is scored after the second OT period, then teams will play Braveheart format.  Coaches will select any combination of 3 players (2 field and 1 goalie or 3 field players with no goalie). Braveheart begins with a draw and the first goal wins.  There are no timeouts in the overtime period and it is a running clock.

FORFEITS

If a team forfeits, the game will be recorded as a 1-0 score
ROSTERS

No player may compete or be on more than one team roster during the tournament.  Any team with a player in violation of this rule will forfeit all games in which the player is known to have competed and forfeit the opportunity to advance to the playoff round.
If you cannot meet the roster requirements, please notify tournament staff immediately.  Tournament Directors will provide a list of free-agent players for the tournament but contacting players from that list and adding them to your roster is the coach’s responsibility.

If a player receives 1 red card, the player must sit out for the remainder of that game. The Tournament Director will determine if the player will be permitted to play in any remaining games.

If a penalty is deemed as vicious, intentional or hateful, officials have the right to request tournament dismissal. The Tournament Director will decide the level of penalty.
