With the exception of goalies playing at the Youth level, all players are required to provide their own equipment. Required equipment includes: helmet, gloves, pads, cup, stick and mouth guard. A water bottle is also a good idea.
At the Varsity level, it is a league requirement that our team helmets and gloves be of the same basic colors. Photos to the right are the team helmet and gloves that we have used for the past 4 years. The helmet is white with green trim. The gloves are white with red (cardinal/maroon). Since there have been so many changes and improvements in gear and players having individual preferences, we will no longer be taking orders for helmets, gloves or bags. However, here are some suggestions for your individual purchases: Helmet: Cascade CPX is the one in the photo. Cascade has come out with a newer version, the Pro-7, which has 148% better concussion protection. These are available at Breakaway Sports in Bellevue or on line. Gloves: Harrow Torrent are a close match to the Warrior Shocker (pictured) which is no longer in production. The Harrow gloves are available at A-Game sports in Sammamish (near Tully’s). Other similar gloves are available at Breakaway Sports in Bellevue and online. Some retailers can special order gloves from other manufacturers in the Eastlake color scheme. However, special order deliveries can take as long as 3 months.
